To understand slavery we have to go to the origin of life. Through the ages slavery has played a significant role in people’s lives. Those people with power, money and political influence will rule over those who have nothing or are in debt.
Ignorant and poor people can be easily victims to powerful people who can enslave them and use them as their properties where they have total control over the body and minds of their slaves. Once trapped as a slave, it will be difficult to be free without help from others like the abolitionists.
